Good food but it could use a bit of a face lift. Its a decent small town bar.
You can call an order in and enjoy it at home though.
Every time we go it is pretty packed though, so if you want to eat there expect to wait, and probably expect that you might be scrunched in a bit.
Decided to try Mahoneys this weekend and was impressed by the excellent food and great service. Will definitely be back.
Great service and possibly the best breasted chicken around. A great place to go eat alone or take the family or large group for a get together. The people are nice, it has a hometown atmosphere and is rather inexpensive for what you get.
Mahoney's broasted chicken and their broasted potatoes are great! I would say theirs is better than anywhere I've found in Cedar Rapids.
Delicious food. Best chicken ever! Service is just a bit slow. Chicken is worth the wait.
